### What is Nubi?

Nubi is a hand-illustrated storybook app for children aged 3 to 6. It comes in six languages, has no advertising, and stories can be downloaded to read offline. A grown-up can also record their own voice narrating each page. It is made by 99UNO and available on the App Store and Google Play.

### What age is Nubi for?

It is designed for children aged 3 to 6. The texts are short and warm, ideal for reading together at bedtime: a grown-up reads or plays the narration while the child follows the illustrations.

### Which languages is it available in?

Six: Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Italian and German. Every story exists in all six, and you can switch the reading language at any time by tapping the flag, even halfway through a story.

### Is Nubi free?

The app is a free download and comes with free stories to get started. If you want more, you can buy individual stories, packs, or a monthly membership with access to the whole catalog. None of the options include advertising.

### Can I record my own voice reading the stories?

Yes. Each story has an option to record your voice page by page. Your children can then hear you narrate the story even when you are not there. Recordings stay on your device only: they are never uploaded to any server.

### Is it safe for children?

Yes. Nubi shows no ads, has no external links or buttons that lead outside the app, and collects no data about children: accounts belong to adults. It complies with COPPA (US) and the GDPR (EU).

### Does it help children with dyslexia?

Yes. Nubi includes a typeface designed for readers with dyslexia, with heavier letter bases and distinctive shapes that are harder to confuse. You turn it on in the app when you need it, and it applies to the text of every story.
